Ishrat Ansari

Ishrat Ansari is a freelance journalist and copywriter based in Karachi. She worked with The Express Tribune, published in partnership with International New York Times, as deputy Lahore desk editor and subeditor and features writer at the Karachi desk for around eight years. Besides her desk responsibilities, she also did a lot of reporting and feature writing on women empowerment, health and mental health issues. She studied at Edinburgh Napier University and also worked as a defence industry report writer for a publishing house in London.
